Right now, the activity has fully kicked off, and we can start farming LXP-L. Let’s aim to grab not only these but also drops from related projects.
🐦⬛ Key points:
🔵 There will be 6 months (6 Volts) of LXP-L farming or until the blockchain reaches $3 billion TVL.
🔵 Volt 1 started on May 16, and with each subsequent Volt, LXP-L farming will decrease by 10%.
🔵 The minimum amount to participate in Linea Surge is over $24.
🔵 LXP-L will be distributed every hour.
I spent a lot of time choosing protocols to invest in. Each option had its downsides, so I decided to go with the simplest and most optimal solution, where we won’t have to constantly monitor our liquidity and risk suddenly stopping LXP-L farming.
✔️ Here’s what I’ll be farming:
⚫ LXP-L from Linea
⚫ Renzo Points (Season 2 drop is on July 26)
⚫ EigenLayer Points (which will get us a drop)
⚫ ZeroLend (gives a 2x boost for Renzo Points)
✅ Steps to follow:
Activate your wallet in Linea Surge:
1️⃣ Go to the website and click “Connect wallet” at the top right.
2️⃣ Click “Sign” and authorize through Metamask.
3️⃣ Verify the code vPmHaSJeza and click “ACTIVATE!”

Transfer ETH to Metamask in the Linea network:
1️⃣ You can withdraw from OKX exchange (fee $0.66).
2️⃣ You can transfer through this bridge.

Deposit ETH into Renzo:
1️⃣ Go to the Renzo website, click “Connect wallet,” accept the terms, and connect your wallet in the Linea network.
2️⃣ Click here and select ETH in the Linea network
3️⃣ Convert ETH to ezETH by clicking “Confirm” ➡️ “Confirm Transaction” and signing the transaction.
✳ Important notes:
⚫ Converting ETH to ezETH gives you Eigenlayer + Renzo points.
⚫ Track your points in the “Portfolio” tab.
⚫ Points are distributed every 24 hours.
⚫ For each ETH, you get 1 EZ and Eigen point per hour.

Deposit ezETH into Zerolend:
1️⃣ Go to the website and click “Connect Wallet” at the top right.
2️⃣ Choose “Browser wallet” and connect Metamask in the Linea network.
3️⃣ Switch the market to the Linea network.
4️⃣ Scroll down and select “Renzo ezETH”.
5️⃣ Click “Supply”, enter the amount, click “Approve”, and sign the transaction.
6️⃣ Click “Supply ezETH” and sign the second transaction.
7️⃣ Go to the “Dashboard,” enable 🆗 “Isolated”, and sign the transaction.
8️⃣ You can now borrow ETH ❗️NO MORE THAN 50% of what you deposited❗️ following this guide and signing the transaction (you might need to “Approve” first, then click “Borrow”).
9️⃣ Deposit the borrowed ETH into the pool following this guide.
5️⃣ Monitor LXP-L here.
❗️ Important to understand:
🔴 Despite my negative feelings towards Zerolend due to its small drops, there are no alternatives in Linea right now.
🔴 Thanks to it, we’ll be farming points in EigenLayer + 2x in Renzo and get the $EZ drop on July 26.
🔴 We can also farm more LXP-L thanks to the loan and reinvesting into the pool.
🔴 In my example, having 10 ETH in my wallet, I farm LXP-L with 15 ETH, which is very profitable.
🔴 You can withdraw money from Zerolend anytime without losing any points.
🔴 ZeroLend also offers small rewards for using it in the future.
ℹ️ The most important thing to remember is that we’re here for LXP-L, and that’s our main goal. Any drops from related projects are a bonus, regardless of their size. Plus, all this happens in the Linea network with very low fees, and you can always move things around.
